Secondary Stage (4 Years)

GRADES - 9 TO 12

This stage will cover two phases: Grades 9 and 10 (ICSE) and Grades 11 and 12 (ISC). Secondary stage comprises of four years of multidisciplinary in-depth study, developing analytical skills, critical thinking and problem solving skills with greater attention to career aspirations and global learning. In Grade 9, students are given choices in Group 2 and 3 as per the ICSE specifications. Both formative and summative assessments are taken into consideration in order to determine the level achieved by a student in academics. The focus is on concept building and a comprehensive understanding of the content. The assessments are designed to make the students think and express themselves.

Subjects Offered in Grades 9 & 10 :

Group 1: Compulsory

- English
- Hindi / Marathi (Any one)
- HCG (History, Civics and Geography)

Group 2: Any two subjects (Any one combination from below)

- Science (Physics, Chemistry, Biology) & Mathematics
- Science (Physics, Chemistry and Biology) & Environmental Science (EVS)
- Economics & Mathematics
- Economics & Commercial Studies
- Mathematics & Commercial Studies

Group 3: Any one subject

- Art
- Computer Applications
- Commercial Application
- Physical Education

Students are also required to attend classes in SUPW (Socially Useful Productive Work)

SENIOR SECONDARY SCHOOL - GRADES: 11 & 12

GRADES : 11 TO 12

There are 3 streams of studies offered – Commerce, Science and Humanities. In each stream students have two groups of subjects.
Group 1 (Compulsory): English and SUPW
In Group 2, students are given choice of elective subjects as per the ISC rules specifications any four subjects can be opted by students from electives.
The subject will be offered if a minimum of three students opt for the same.
